Who we are

THE THESIS PRO is an online academic research support and consultancy brand established in 2017. This policy explains how we intend to handle personal information submitted through thethesispro.com, email, WhatsApp and the customer portal when it becomes available.

For questions about personal data, contact thethesispro@gmail.com or call +91 78887 18548. We do not currently display a public office address.

Coverage: This draft covers prospective clients, active clients, registered portal users, visitors and people contacting us on behalf of a research project.

Information we may collect

The information collected depends on which service or website function you use. Categories may include:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country and communication preference.
  • Academic and project information: academic level, subject, research topic, scope, deadlines, chosen software, consultation notes, quotations and messages.
  • Documents: proposal outlines, thesis chapters, guide comments, manuscripts, reference files and other documents you intentionally share.
  • Account and project records: sign-in credentials managed by our chosen authentication service, project milestones, files, revisions and activity needed to manage your account.
  • Billing records: quotation acceptances, payment status and transaction references reported by a payment provider. We do not intend to store your complete card details.
  • Technical information: browser/device data, security logs, approximate region and analytics or cookie data when the relevant tools are enabled.
  • Chat content: messages you send to human support or an AI-assisted chat service if that feature is enabled.

Please avoid sharing unnecessary identification documents, financial information, sensitive medical records, or confidential third-party data unless specifically required and appropriately agreed.

Why and how we use information

We use information for the purposes communicated to you and as permitted by applicable laws. These purposes may include:

EnquiriesAnswer questions, assess requirements and send manually approved quotations.
ProjectsManage agreed academic support, chapter milestones, feedback, revisions and quality checks.
AccountsAuthenticate clients, provide secure portal access and maintain project history.
OperationsProcess payment confirmations, deliver customer support, prevent misuse and meet recordkeeping requirements.
CommunicationsSend necessary service notices and, only where appropriate, optional marketing updates subject to your choices.

Depending on your location and the particular activity, processing may rely on consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a service agreement, compliance with law or another applicable lawful basis. Where consent is required, we will seek it and offer applicable controls.

Research documents and confidentiality

Research manuscripts and unpublished material may be commercially or academically sensitive. Our intended handling practices include giving files to staff members only when their work requires it, setting permissions by project and limiting further disclosure.

  • Writers, editors and our separate proofreading team should only receive the material necessary for their assigned work.
  • Project files and guide feedback will be shared only through agreed communication or secure upload channels once the portal is operational.
  • We will not publish customer research material, sell manuscripts or use uploaded client documents as public examples without specific authorization.
  • Customers remain responsible for checking their institution's permissions, confidentiality requirements and academic integrity rules before submitting materials to us.
Pre-launch distinction: The current website preview prepares WhatsApp/email enquiries; it does not yet accept secure file uploads or provide live customer accounts.

AI chatbot and live chat

We plan to offer WhatsApp, human live chat and an AI-assisted chatbot to answer general questions and route enquiries. If enabled, the chat provider may process your messages to deliver responses, provide support and maintain necessary security records.

Do not enter confidential thesis chapters, identifying research participant information or unpublished datasets into a chatbot unless we have clearly explained the provider and its data handling and you have authorized that use.

We will document the provider, retention settings, human review options and whether any conversations could be used to improve a third-party AI model before launching that feature. The chatbot is not a substitute for professional academic consultation.

When information may be shared

We may share necessary information with authorized team members, dedicated editors or proofreaders, IT and storage providers, customer support/chat providers, payment processors and other service providers whose role is necessary to fulfil the requested services.

We may also disclose information where legally required or needed to protect users, staff or the website from fraud and misuse. We do not plan to sell personal information.

For journal selection and submission guidance, we do not publish papers or collect journal publication fees. Authors decide what to share with journals and handle journal charges directly with the publisher.

Quotes and payment links

Custom project pricing is reviewed and approved by our team. If you accept a quotation, you may receive a personalized payment link from a payment service provider. The provider's own privacy notice and security practices apply to payment entry and processing.

We may keep a payment reference, status, invoice or accounting record but do not intend to collect or store full card numbers or card security codes on our website.

Cookies, analytics and external services

The website may use strictly necessary storage for essential functions such as secure sessions and basic preferences. If optional analytics or advertising tools are introduced, we will identify them and provide any notice or consent choices required by the visitor's location.

Clicking WhatsApp, email, payment-provider or other third-party links takes you to a service outside our control; that service operates under its own privacy practices. The current static preview may not use all tools described in this planned policy.

Data security and access

Before launching our live portal, we intend to implement HTTPS, authenticated logins, restricted project-level access, protected document storage, administrator security controls, backups and appropriate retention/deletion processes. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

If we discover a material security incident affecting personal data, we will assess it and make any notifications required by applicable law.

How long information is kept

We intend to keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, agreed services, accounting, legitimate dispute handling and other applicable legal requirements.

Some information may need to be retained even after an account is closed, for example to meet tax obligations or resolve a payment dispute. Precise retention periods for client projects, enquiry records, backups, chats and account data must be set and documented before launch.

International clients and data transfers

THE THESIS PRO serves clients worldwide. Depending on the location of our selected hosting, email, storage, chat or payment providers, information may be processed in countries different from yours.

Where required, we will use appropriate service contracts, notices and safeguards for international data transfers. Exact provider locations and transfer arrangements will be described after the deployment configuration is finalized.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to information, request corrections, withdraw certain consents, opt out of marketing, request deletion, or raise concerns about our handling of personal data. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions.

Send a request to thethesispro@gmail.com with enough information to identify your account or enquiry. We may need to confirm your identity before changing or releasing personal information.

You can decline optional promotional communications without losing access to essential service messages. Responses will follow the requirements and timelines applicable to your request.

Children and student accounts

Our paid research consultancy is intended primarily for adults. If a client or prospective client is under 18, we will require appropriate involvement or authorization from a parent or guardian where required. We do not intentionally seek personal information from young children without appropriate authorization.

Please contact us if you believe personal information about a child was submitted without the required permission.

Updates and contact

We may revise this policy when our actual technologies, services or legal requirements change. Material updates will be presented with a new date and, where required, additional notice.
